uh, I knew it was a boy before I "clicked" because in the first line your wrote "He's alive, well and kicking."

Congratulations though! It's understandable that you'd make that mistake. I wasn't thinking clearly when my wife was pregnant

...nor am I to this day (My daughter is now 7!).
